Performs GIS data stewardship, geodatabase maintenance, spatial and parcel analysis, stormwater infrastructure mapping, quality control, and integration of inspection and asset-management records. Develops maps, dashboards, reports, mobile workflows, and data products supporting the County’s Stormwater Utility and MS4 programs. Reviews as-built records, maintains outfall and impervious-area data, provides technical assistance and training, documents workflows, and supports emergency response mapping.

Entry-level civil engineering role supporting transportation, drainage, roadway, traffic, infrastructure, development review, construction inspections, and capital improvement projects. The position prepares calculations, maps, reports, and technical reviews under licensed engineering supervision while coordinating with contractors, consultants, developers, utilities, and the public. The Engineer in Training is expected to develop practical engineering skills, obtain EIT certification, and pursue Florida Professional Engineer licensure.
