Maintains legislative tracking records in iTrak, supports state advocacy priorities, responds to member inquiries, participates in policy committees, and contributes to policy toolkits and research repositories.

Leads sales and strategic partnerships for AHIP’s Insurance Education portfolio. Responsibilities include acquiring and expanding health insurance clients, managing strategic accounts, negotiating agreements, forecasting revenue, developing executive relationships, representing AHIP at industry events, and identifying market opportunities. The role focuses on Medicare Advantage and health insurance markets, customer retention, renewals, revenue growth, and collaboration with marketing, finance, and internal stakeholders. Domestic travel is required for conferences, customer meetings, trade shows, and partner engagements.

Leads state health insurance policy advocacy through legislative and regulatory analysis, development of advocacy positions and materials, monitoring state policy trends, and engagement with members, legislators, regulators, and industry stakeholders. Produces policy briefs, testimony, comment letters, toolkits, surveys, and presentations; supports consensus-building on AHIP priorities and represents the organization at policy conferences and meetings.
