Leads EdTrust’s digital communications strategy, social media, integrated advocacy campaigns, audience growth, community engagement, and multimedia storytelling. Uses analytics, platform expertise, experimentation, and emerging digital tools to increase reach and advocacy impact. Manages an associate, interns, and contractors while collaborating with policy, communications, development, government affairs, and state teams. Translates complex education policy into accessible content across social, web, email, and digital advertising channels.

Leads EdTrust-West’s TK-12 education equity policy agenda, including policy strategy, analysis, recommendations, and development of public-facing resources. Represents the organization with policymakers, funders, advocates, and education stakeholders across California. Manages a small team, oversees priorities and operations, supports budgeting and organizational planning, and strengthens cross-team systems. The role requires deep TK-12 policy expertise, strong leadership, communication, relationship-building, and at least 10 years of relevant experience.

Build and launch EdTrust’s national and California major gifts program; establish fundraising systems, donor portfolios, prospect management, forecasting, and stewardship practices. Cultivate and solicit individual donors and family foundations capable of five-, six-, and seven-figure gifts. Partner with executive leadership on donor engagement, proposals, investment opportunities, and long-term relationship development. Travel up to 50% for donor meetings, events, and networking.

Leads operations and strategy for the New York office, managing project systems, internal processes, finance administration, people and culture initiatives, events, and strategic planning. Administers Asana workflows and reporting, coordinates budgets, contracts, grant reporting, reconciliations, and vendor payments, and partners with national finance and executive leadership. May supervise employees or interns and drive continuous process improvement across teams.
