The Staff Accountant manages financial oversight, reporting, reimbursement requests, budget monitoring, reconciliations, grant closeouts, and audit preparation for federally and state-funded nonprofit programs. The role ensures compliance with GAAP, Uniform Guidance, Head Start standards, CSBG, and LIHEAP regulations; supports grant budgets and financial statements; resolves grant-related receivables; and advises program leaders on fiscal compliance and budget status.
