Design optimized laser powder bed fusion components using DfAM principles, Siemens NX, and AM-specific software. The role integrates ICE, ERS, battery, turbocharger, and vehicle performance controls to optimize race performance within regulatory limits.

Support engine control system electronics through laboratory testing and calibration of modules, sensors, harnesses, and actuators. Develop test plans, methods, and fixtures; diagnose lab and engine component issues using diagnostic tools and reference data; build fixtures and harnesses; document procedures and findings; and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams developing a Formula 1 power unit.

Provides first-level onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, software, and basic network issues. Assists with device deployment, operating system and application configuration, password resets, access requests, ticket documentation, inventory tracking, and escalation of complex issues. The placement offers hands-on experience supporting enterprise IT operations in a high-performance manufacturing and motorsports environment.

Leads a 6–10-person vehicle performance and simulation team supporting Formula 1 power unit development, testing, and race operations. Owns power unit, lap time, energy management, and race strategy simulation capabilities; directs model validation, tool infrastructure, automation, and telemetry integration. Translates simulation results into development priorities and race-weekend decisions while managing hiring, workload allocation, performance development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Develop and maintain GT-Power 1D combustion engine and propulsion models, correlate simulations with dyno, rig, and vehicle data, and perform performance, thermal, DOE, and optimization studies. Translate 3D CFD and test insights into models, process large datasets with Python, establish simulation methods and templates, and provide data-driven hardware and calibration recommendations. Communicate technical findings to cross-functional engineering, testing, calibration, and vehicle integration teams.

Design and optimize manufacturing processes for battery Energy Store and Energy Store Main Enclosure assembly. The role develops quality procedures, selects equipment, performs root cause analysis, creates work instructions, and ensures safety and operational compliance. It also contributes to product design for built-in quality and collaborates with quality, assembly, and high-voltage safety teams. Experience with industrial robots, 3D CAD, high-voltage assembly, welding, PLCs, and DFM/DFA is valuable.

Define, control, and release build specifications for Formula 1 ICE and ERS power-unit assemblies. Coordinate configuration, BOMs, revisions, serialized components, material readiness, engineering changes, and traceability across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Testing. Maintain accurate PLM/ERP records, lead configuration reviews, resolve discrepancies, ensure FIA compliance, and communicate build risks and decisions.

Performs dimensional inspections of Formula 1 power unit components using metrology equipment. Supports measurement routine development, first article inspections, component validation, data analysis, equipment calibration, quality documentation, and compliance with engineering and FIA requirements. The role collaborates with engineering and manufacturing teams, escalates dimensional concerns, and contributes to continuous improvement in a hands-on metrology laboratory environment.
