Manages laboratory accreditation applications, reapplications, inspection workflows, accreditation cycles, records, and related customer inquiries. Maintains laboratory data and personnel information across internal systems, monitors deadlines and work queues, resolves application and policy issues, supports participants and inspectors, coordinates approvals, and contributes to system enhancements and staff training.

Manages state government affairs and advocacy programs, including legislative and regulatory tracking, policy research, lobbying contracts, compliance, stakeholder relationships, grassroots mobilization, health policy communications, and development of advocacy positions. Supports state pathology society relations, committee activities, health equity advocacy, and events while advising senior leadership on state policy and tactical matters.

Leads enterprise strategic communications and digital content strategy across web, email, social media, search, multimedia, and emerging channels. Oversees digital governance, website content, audience engagement, analytics, SEO, accessibility, and optimization. Advises senior leaders, manages cross-functional initiatives, leads the digital communications team, oversees vendors and budgets, and guides responsible adoption of emerging technologies. The role is hybrid in Northfield, Illinois, or Washington, DC, with some weekend work and travel as needed.

Leads the organization’s information services program and project management function, overseeing governance, delivery standards, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and executive communications. Manages matrixed teams, vendors, technology service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting enterprise IS strategy. Requires extensive IT and project management experience, healthcare and laboratory medicine knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
