Supports the Manager of Marketing and Special Events with campus event planning, logistics, room scheduling, work orders, calendars, documentation, supplies, communications, phone inquiries, and general clerical tasks. The role requires strong organization, customer service, communication, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office proficiency. Evening or weekend work may occasionally be needed for events.

Develops and coordinates internal communications across digital and traditional channels. Expected teaching areas include Python, Power BI, Java, JavaScript, SQL, and A+ certification.

Leads web and intranet content governance, CMS administration, information architecture, UX research, accessibility, SEO, and quality assurance. Builds pages using CMS tools, HTML, and CSS; manages web projects, support escalations, documentation, training, and contributor mentorship. Administers placement, professional certification, state proficiency, and credit-by-exam tests at college testing centers. Supports scheduling, student and faculty inquiries, accommodated exams, score entry, proctor training, and testing-center operations. Provides personalized student assistance, coordinates with faculty and access services, maintains testing certifications, and may work occasional evening or weekend testing. The position averages approximately 29 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, with assignments at the East Peoria and Peoria campuses.

The Grants Writer researches funding opportunities and develops, writes, budgets, coordinates, and submits competitive grant proposals for federal, state, and private sponsors. The role collaborates with college leaders and community partners, interprets sponsor requirements, develops logic models and performance measures, integrates research and data storytelling, tracks submissions, and supports post-award reporting and grant management.

Coordinates and expands dual credit programs across partner high schools and Illinois Central College. Supports faculty credentialing, professional development, compliance, grant implementation, outreach, and equitable student access. Maintains program records, monitors grant objectives and performance indicators, facilitates training events, and collaborates with academic, enrollment, and school district stakeholders to strengthen pathways to college enrollment, completion, transfer, and careers.
