The Tax Manager oversees federal, state, and local tax compliance for a domestic U.S. law firm partnership. Responsibilities include partnership tax returns, K-1s, partner capital accounts, multi-state taxation, SALT compliance, tax planning, audits, notices, tax accruals, reconciliations, and process improvements. The role collaborates with leadership, finance, HR, partners, outside advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies while managing deadlines and confidential financial information.

Leads enterprise data architecture, SQL Server administration, data warehouse design, ETL/ELT pipelines, Azure data platforms, data governance, master data management, and business intelligence strategy. Partners with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions across financial, HR, CRM, operational, and practice management systems. Provides technical leadership, vendor coordination, architecture documentation, and mentorship.

Supports attorneys with litigation case planning, legal research, document drafting and filing, evidence review, client and witness interviews, case-file management, trial preparation, and billable-hour tracking. Maintains litigation calendars, analyzes statutes and judicial decisions, prepares written case analyses, and assists with hearings and trials.
