Maintains cybersecurity posture and operational readiness for information systems and networks. Supports ISSMs, security officers, and authorizing officials; ensures RMF compliance and ATO/ATC maintenance; conducts assessments, audits, site surveys, and vulnerability reviews; develops POA&Ms, inspection reports, security procedures, and system documentation; supports lifecycle management, deployments, remediation, and security assessments; and advises leadership on cybersecurity, physical, and personnel security requirements.

The role also manages VMware infrastructure and collaborates with SQL DBAs, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.

The role operates in a rotating 24/7 shift environment and may train Tier I analysts.

Administer Authority to Operate packages and oversee Risk Management Framework processes in eMASS for DoD information systems. Responsibilities include developing SSPs, security assessment reports, risk assessment reports, and compliance artifacts; maintaining authorization lifecycles; supporting configuration, patching, and troubleshooting; ensuring DoD compliance; collaborating with system owners and technical teams; and leading training on RMF, security tools, and incident response.

Performs systems engineering across requirements, architecture, design integration, verification, validation, and lifecycle support. Develops and maintains Cameo-based MBSE models, system architectures, interface definitions, traceability artifacts, and technical baselines. Coordinates software, hardware, network, cybersecurity, and operational engineering considerations. Supports configuration control, technical reviews, integration, risk management, trade studies, customer engagements, and continuous improvement of systems engineering processes.

Leads software design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment for simulation systems. Provides technical leadership, team coordination, mentoring, architecture guidance, code and design reviews, release planning, troubleshooting, and risk tracking. Coordinates with systems engineering, cybersecurity, testing, configuration management, and program management teams while supporting agile development and customer technical reviews.

Provides on-site systems administration and technical support in a government medical testing facility. Responsibilities include managing Windows and Linux systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM coordination, VMware virtualization, patches, upgrades, security risks, ACAS results, and DoW STIG compliance. The role supports infrastructure modernization, test events, customer tickets, documentation, training, and coordination with cybersecurity and government stakeholders.
