Leads financial oversight for complex construction projects, including project setup, AIA billing, subcontractor compliance, invoice review, cost forecasting, revenue recognition, WIP entries, CTC analysis, audits, and collections support. Partners with project managers, operational leaders, vendors, accounts payable, clients, and subcontractors. Provides financial projections, identifies project risks and opportunities, attends project meetings, and mentors junior accounting staff.

Project Accountant responsibilities include setting up construction project budgets, managing owner billing and subcontractor payments, reviewing invoices and cost reallocations, ensuring compliance, analyzing cost-to-complete and gross profit fluctuations, supporting audits, preparing WIP entries, and assisting with revenue projections. The role is hybrid, primarily remote, with required attendance at the Davie, Florida office one to two times weekly.
