Provides accounting and clerical support for a continuing care retirement community. Responsibilities include entering resident and health center billing data, preparing deposits, reviewing and entering accounts payable invoices, forwarding invoices for approval, and generating checks. The role also supports the Director of Financial Services with daily department coordination and requires strong hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Provides accounting and administrative support, including accounts payable, invoice and payment processing, check preparation, bank deposits, payroll processing, payroll issue resolution, resident billing backup, financial statement preparation, audit support, and cash tracking. Maintains accurate and confidential financial records while collaborating with Finance, Human Resources, vendors, employees, and other departments.

Supports the HR Director with full-cycle recruitment, candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retention initiatives. Partners with department leaders, maintains talent pipelines, develops recruiting materials, and represents the organization at hiring events. Also assists with benefits, employee relations, compliance, training, FMLA, workers’ compensation, ADA, HRIS administration, employee events, and special HR projects.

Administers employee leave and accommodation programs, including eligibility verification, leave approvals, compliance with FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and related laws, employee communications, HRIS and payroll updates, return-to-work coordination, and confidentiality of sensitive records. Advises employees and managers, manages leave inquiries and documentation, supports the ADA interactive process, and coordinates with HR and legal teams.

Process bi-weekly payroll for retirement community employees across multiple states. Maintain payroll, personnel, tax, benefits, garnishment, and costing records in Oracle; assist with tax reporting, W-2 preparation, account reconciliations, client billing, and payroll inquiries. Prepare reports for clients and management while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations. The role requires strong Excel skills, confidentiality, accuracy, organization, communication, and customer service.

Leads occupancy growth and revenue through sales strategy, prospect relationship management, community tours, pipeline oversight, and move-in conversions. Directs local marketing, digital and print campaigns, outreach, events, and referral partnerships. Coaches sales staff, collaborates with community and corporate leaders, monitors performance metrics, presents reports, and ensures regulatory, privacy, and service standards.

Provides comprehensive HR support, including payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, HRIS and employee file management, billing reconciliation, workforce reporting, and employee guidance. Partners with HR leadership and community leaders to maintain accurate records, support employee benefits, ensure payroll compliance, and foster a positive workplace.

Leads enterprise pricing strategy, revenue optimization, financial underwriting, forecasting, predictive modeling, and financial analytics. Builds financial models and reporting to guide executive decisions on pricing, occupancy, cash flow, contracts, and growth. Establishes governance and forecasting standards, communicates actionable insights across functions, and leads a growing finance and analytics team. Drives process improvement, automation, and technology enablement across pricing, underwriting, and forecasting capabilities.

Leads significant accounting processes and monthly close activities, reviewing complex journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial schedules. Analyzes results, identifies risks, supports audits, maintains internal controls, and resolves complex accounting issues. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, coordinates cross-functional deliverables, and drives process standardization and continuous improvement. Participates in system implementations, acquisitions, transitions, and special projects.

Supports the Executive Director and Marketing Department through administrative coordination, scheduling, communications, event planning, resident engagement, social media assistance, marketing collateral creation, and Salesforce record maintenance. The role also assists with move-in documentation, lead management, community outreach, networking, and new-resident welcome events while providing organized, hospitable service in a senior living community.
