The role also promotes an inclusive culture, supports volunteers, maintains confidentiality, and works hybrid across Metro Atlanta shelters.

Develops LifeLine Animal Project’s brand positioning, institutional narrative, audience growth strategy, and donor-facing communications. Conducts audience and competitive research, writes major organizational content and CEO op-eds, supports fundraising and government communications, guides cross-channel brand execution, advises senior leaders, supports crisis communications, and tracks strategic performance. The role also builds organizational authority in animal welfare and occasionally travels to shelters or community events.

Leads adoption, foster, pathways, rescue, and volunteer placement departments. Manages budgets, audits, SOPs, performance goals, data reporting, staff development, and cross-department coordination. Supports managers, handles escalated visitor situations, oversees euthanasia notifications, and builds relationships with adopters, rescue groups, volunteers, and community stakeholders. Ensures animal welfare standards, compliance, effective placement strategies, and responsible pet ownership initiatives.
