Support the founder and marketing team by promoting products through PR initiatives, building media lists, researching contacts and trends, conducting media outreach, developing story ideas, pitching partnerships and speaking engagements, and creating campaign strategies for product and program launches. The role is remote and emphasizes communication, writing, creativity, relationship-building, and interest in startups, marketing, social media, and technology.

Create and execute engaging TikTok videos for HiWave on a per-video contract basis. Identify emerging trends, film people in real-world settings, source video participants, and produce channel-specific content that grows engagement and community size. Collaborate with the TikTok Specialist, founder, and Operations Manager to develop brand-aligned ideas and promote HiWave’s product through business-focused social content.

Write and optimize brand, product, website, advertising, social media, SEM, email, and text-message marketing copy. Collaborate with design, media production, social, and digital teams to launch campaigns. Adapt voice and tone across brand strategies, improve customer-journey messaging and conversions, and use performance metrics to reduce bounce rates and support cross-selling and upselling.

Create, capture, edit, and publish brand, sales, testimonial, interview, product, campaign, advertising, and social media videos. Develop creative concepts, contribute to video-related creative direction, and manage video production to engage audiences and drive website traffic.

Create and schedule TikTok content to grow HiWave’s social presence. Responsibilities include filming, photography, editing, production assistance, appearing in videos, monitoring content performance, analyzing TikTok trends and statistics, and pitching creative video ideas. The intern will collaborate with HiWave’s resident TikTok creator and gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and video production.

Create and manage Instagram content, including photography, video, graphics, scheduling, monitoring, and audience engagement. Build the company’s brand aesthetic, support promotions and influencer campaigns, analyze competitors, update LinkedIn, and coordinate with marketing and PR teams to promote company news and products.

Supports the Operations Manager in building a brand ambassador program, developing ambassador challenges, conducting meetings, creating promotional social content, tracking projects and data, researching successful programs, and recruiting campus leaders. The intern gains experience in marketing, product management, leadership, and student mentoring. This is an unpaid internship.

Support digital marketing, user acquisition, online advertising, marketing automation, SEO, SEM, email and text messaging campaigns, retargeting, affiliate marketing, monetization initiatives, campaign optimization, and metrics reporting. The intern will help develop marketing strategies and independently execute campaign improvements in a fast-paced startup environment.
