Leads the alignment and implementation of high-impact academic support and accelerated learning strategies across Texas ACE and 21st CCLC after-school sites.

Performs standard and advanced secretarial and administrative duties under general supervision. Supports a manager or senior manager, completes independent project assignments, and applies knowledge of departmental practices and district policies and procedures.

Lead the strategic vision, development, review, and continuous improvement of 6–12 language arts and social studies curriculum and assessment systems. Analyze student and campus data, guide scope and sequence decisions, coach curriculum writers, support professional learning, and ensure instructional materials align with standards, accessibility requirements, district goals, and classroom implementation. Manage team deliverables, stakeholder engagement, implementation challenges, and assessment improvements across campuses.

Develops Houston ISD science curriculum for grades 6–11 and creates job-embedded professional development materials, including teacher-guided slide decks, student activities, assessments, and differentiated assignments. Evaluates content for grade-level appropriateness and cultural relevance, collaborates in curriculum brain trust sessions, and aligns lessons and professional learning with TEKS, NES standards, and district objectives.

Performs advanced secretarial and administrative duties for department officers under limited direction. Handles routine matters independently to conserve supervisors’ time and applies thorough knowledge of departmental practices, procedures, and district policies.

Leads the development and implementation of STEM and STEM+M curriculum within a magnet school. Creates elective pathways aligned with the campus theme, provides professional development for instructional staff, and supports rigorous, theme-based instructional programs for all students.

Leads advanced analytics initiatives supporting strategic planning, equity, forecasting, and resource allocation. Builds predictive models, simulations, and complex analyses using student and enterprise data. Partners with senior leaders and analysts to deliver evidence-based insights that guide district policy and improve performance outcomes.

Leads school operations and instructional improvement, develops strategic plans, mentors and retains staff, ensures legal and district compliance, manages data systems and budgets, builds relationships with stakeholders, promotes student achievement and safety, and supports a high-performance teaching culture.

Coordinates specialized instructional programs across assigned campuses, collaborates with campus and district leaders, and promotes consistent use of evidence-based special education practices aligned with district standards and student needs. Provides guidance, coordinates delivery, resolves complex issues, and supports teams without formal supervisory authority.

Coordinate the district’s initial ARD processes, supporting day-to-day execution and campus teams. Promote consistent practices, reinforce district expectations, and help ensure high-quality eligibility determinations and student-centered placement decisions.
