Conducts in-depth data analysis, generates insights, and provides strategic recommendations to support evidence-based decisions. Evaluates educational programs, assesses student performance, and identifies improvement opportunities across the district.

Leads enterprise architecture for custom applications, cloud integrations, and platform extensions supporting Houston ISD’s transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion Cloud. Develops integration strategies across Oracle, Microsoft, and other platforms; ensures secure, scalable, interoperable designs; conducts architecture and code reviews; leads technology proofs of concept; improves DevOps, CI/CD, and API management; and mentors architects and developers.

Designs and develops TEKS-aligned Kindergarten through fifth-grade Reading Language Arts curriculum, including daily lessons, assessments, literacy activities, slide decks, differentiated assignments, and scaffolds. Collaborates with professional learning communities and colleagues to refine instructional materials. Uses student data, teacher feedback, and implementation outcomes to improve curriculum quality, rigor, coherence, and classroom usability. Participates in professional learning focused on standards, Science of Reading, structured literacy, and curriculum design.

Leads the Superintendent’s executive operations, advises district leadership, and drives enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. Oversees performance management, data governance, accountability systems, Board governance processes, executive communications, and a strategic projects team. Aligns departments, removes implementation barriers, manages organizational transformation, and establishes systems to achieve district priorities and improved student outcomes.

Designs and delivers professional development, courses, coaching tools, and compliance training supporting special education instruction. Collaborates with district and campus leaders to plan professional learning, develop training resources, support teacher onboarding, and address instructional needs. Monitors participation, feedback, and implementation data to improve outcomes. Ensures alignment with IDEA, state requirements, IEP processes, inclusive practices, assessments, and specially designed instruction.

Provides legal advice to the Board of Education, Superintendent, and District leadership on laws and regulations affecting public education. Handles litigation involving employment and special education, represents the District in judicial, administrative, and regulatory proceedings, coordinates responses to state and federal investigations, and supports lawful decision-making and professional development across the District.

Coordinates the senior leader’s office and supports the Multilingual Department by collecting information, communicating with stakeholders, gathering customer feedback, executing impactful special projects, and supervising administrative staff.

Prepares, cleans, validates, and manages data from multiple sources; develops and maintains reports, dashboards, and visualizations; performs routine and ad hoc analyses; documents data definitions and processes; coordinates with IT and data teams; supports users in interpreting reports; and communicates findings to nontechnical audiences.

Provides clerical and administrative support for UIL athletics and activities, including front desk reception, customer service, compliance records, financial transactions, travel reimbursements, transportation scheduling, event coordination, correspondence, and office inventory. Maintains accurate financial and compliance files while supporting coaches, campuses, vendors, and department staff according to district procedures.

Plans, executes, and manages complex departmental projects and programs. Coordinates cross-functional teams, tracks timelines and budgets, maintains quality standards, and drives successful initiative completion while supporting organizational goals and stakeholder satisfaction.
