Responsibilities include CAD modeling, engineering drawings with GD&T, structural calculations, FEA, vendor and machine-shop coordination, in-house fabrication, hardware integration, test fixture design, environmental testing, and improving designs based on test data.

Build and scale the company’s defense supply chain from prototype sourcing through low-rate production. Responsibilities include qualifying and negotiating with suppliers, securing long-lead components, managing supply risks, supporting make-versus-buy decisions, developing sourcing and cost models, ensuring FAR/DFARS and ITAR compliance, establishing supplier quality requirements, and implementing scalable purchasing, inventory, and supplier-management processes.

Own structural and mechanical interceptor subsystems from concept through flight hardware. Perform structural, vibration, shock, thermal, hand-calculation, and FEA analyses; create production-ready CAD and GD&T drawings; select aerospace materials; collaborate across engineering teams; work with vendors and machine shops; design fixtures and conduct environmental and structural testing; build hardware hands-on; and mentor junior engineers.
