Provides project and field payroll administration, including timecard processing, certified payroll reporting, union wage compliance, prevailing wage documentation, and payroll record maintenance. Coordinates geologists, attorneys, real estate professionals, engineers, consultants, owners, and corporate stakeholders to secure aggregate reserves and support future plant operations. The role also develops public relations plans, assists with market research, and ensures projects align with company objectives.

Provides advanced accounting support through complex record analysis, journal entry preparation, monthly close activities, financial reporting review, balance sheet reconciliations, and GAAP compliance. Responds to management inquiries, supports strategic decision-making, researches accounting matters, and contributes to special projects and cross-training. Requires strong analytical, communication, spreadsheet, and enterprise accounting system skills in a high-volume environment.

Performs complex payroll and benefits accounting duties, including preparing reports, analyses, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, retirement plan trust reconciliations, financial reports, tax return reviews, and benefit accounting records. Supports special projects, department management, and payroll cross-training while ensuring accurate, timely, policy-compliant recordkeeping.

Administer and govern Power BI environments, dashboards, data models, and reporting systems for construction project controls. Develop analytics, data dictionaries, metadata, lineage documentation, process manuals, and governance artifacts. Connect source systems, support ODS structures, validate reports, and ensure data accuracy. Train project controls and construction users, collaborate with IT and project teams, and may supervise staff. The role requires advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and construction data expertise.

Maintains project cost systems, cost codes, budgets, forecasts, change orders, invoices, cash flow, and performance reporting for concurrent construction projects. Integrates cost and schedule data, tracks project scope changes and potential losses, supports financial forecasting, and maintains standard operating procedures. Requires coordination with project managers, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams, along with occasional travel and compliance with safety and conduct standards.

Supports Accounts Receivable operations by verifying invoices, processing receipts, reconciling customer and general ledger accounts, maintaining accurate records, preparing management reports, assisting with audits, and supporting process improvements. The role also answers field staff questions, reviews customer master data, maintains audit-ready files, and helps ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Partners with managers and corporate HR on recruiting, employee relations, benefits, compensation, training, compliance, EEO, labor relations, and employee development. Supports hiring strategies, audits, program rollouts, reporting, industry and college recruiting events, and HR education. Coaches managers, ensures legal compliance, protects confidential information, promotes safety initiatives, and travels approximately 20% of the time.
