Executes protection and control testing and commissioning for distribution and transmission substations under Senior or Lead Engineer oversight. Performs relay, CT/VT, breaker control, metering, and protection element tests; reads electrical drawings; documents results; and supports commissioning packages. Follows LOTO, HPI, OSHA, NERC CIP, and utility safety requirements. Develops test and isolation plans, communicates field observations, participates in outage schedules, and builds toward independent system-level testing.

The role develops independent system-level understanding while complying with OSHA, NERC CIP, NETA, utility, and client requirements. Travel, outage schedules, energized equipment, and outdoor construction environments are required.
