Develops and optimizes signal-processing algorithm pipelines for sensing products and hardware accelerators. Responsibilities include algorithm research, fixed-point modeling, MATLAB/Python simulation, performance validation, HW/SW partitioning, test-vector generation, silicon bring-up, and system integration. The role collaborates with digital front-end, verification, architecture, embedded DSP software, and systems teams to deliver production-ready solutions for applications including radar, LiDAR, robotics, and multimodal sensing.

Designs and maintains embedded software development, testing, manufacturing, and deployment tools. Responsibilities include board bring-up, flashing, provisioning, diagnostics, hardware-in-the-loop testing, factory automation, simulation, observability, and cross-platform toolchain integration across embedded hardware. Develop and integrate robotics algorithms and machine-learning systems for perception, state estimation, localization, mapping, sensor fusion, planning, control, and learned behaviors. Build and deploy autonomy software across mobile robots, robotic arms, quadrupeds, and humanoids. Integrate camera, LiDAR, and IMU data, optimize software for embedded and edge platforms, support real-robot testing and demos, and debug system-level autonomy issues.

Lead the design, simulation, layout, tapeout, and testing of passive and active silicon photonics components, subsystems, and PICs. Develop wafer-to-module test plans, analyze measurements, troubleshoot optical systems and test setups, document designs, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve products and transition designs into high-volume manufacturing.

Develop mapping and perception software for robotic platforms by fusing LiDAR, IMU, and camera data. Build state-estimation algorithms, 3D reconstruction systems, and visualization tools; optimize code for real-time performance. The role requires strong C++ and Python development, experience with estimation or reconstruction techniques, and well-tested software engineering practices. CUDA experience is preferred.

Design and define architectures for complex embedded SoCs, translating system requirements into optimized chip requirements and custom logic. Research and evaluate vendor IP, maintain architecture documentation, participate in design and test-plan reviews, define coverage and performance targets, and support silicon bring-up, system validation, debugging, and implementation. The role collaborates across systems, software, design, and verification teams.

Develops rapid product prototypes and technology demonstrations in C/C++ and Python across evolving embedded hardware. Responsibilities include modifying drivers and software frameworks, designing architectures, establishing CI/CD and code review workflows, translating research algorithms into high-performance embedded code, supporting chip and board bring-up, collaborating with Systems and Physical AI teams, documenting implementations, and handing successful prototypes to production software teams.

Owns high-speed signal integrity and power distribution network simulations and validation for complex SoC, sensor, and mixed-signal systems. Collaborates with electrical, systems, and package engineers to define SI, PI, EMI, and EMC performance. Develops test plans, models power networks and interconnects, validates designs in laboratory settings, analyzes simulation and measurement data, troubleshoots issues, and proposes corrective actions across multiple concurrent projects.
