Provides legal advice to the Texas Democratic Party on election law, voting rights, election administration, ballot access, campaign finance, and party rules. Assists with litigation, appeals, contracts, open records requests, subpoenas, policies, and compliance matters. Tracks legislative and litigation developments, trains party and election staff, and supports employment, governance, and risk-management issues.

Part-time interns support the Texas Democratic Party through database maintenance, reporting, research, document analysis, outreach, engagement, IT, operations, HR, finance, analytics, project coordination, and initiative implementation. Internships last 10 weeks at 24 hours per week and are conducted in person in Austin or Dallas.
