The Controller oversees accounting and finance functions for a construction company, including financial reporting, job costing, billing, collections, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, budgeting, and project profitability analysis. The role manages WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting, monitors project costs and margins, establishes controls, supports banking, bonding, audits, and tax preparation, and leads the accounting team. This position partners with executives, project managers, and operations to improve financial performance and has a path toward VP of Finance and CFO responsibilities.
