Design and implement refinery mechanical projects: coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients; respond to RFIs and review submittals; perform site visits, vendor/spec reviews, field verifications, take-offs, cost estimates, scheduling, and project management. Apply rotating equipment, PSV sizing, piping and pressure vessel codes (ASME), pipe stress analysis (Caesar II), and pump/compressor sizing.

Manage end-to-end domestic and international relocations, coordinate vendors, audit relocation and payroll expenses, maintain HRIS data, run compensation programs and merit processes, conduct market analysis and salary surveys, administer incentives, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.

Lead multi-state sales and use tax audit defense, resolve tax issues with customers and vendors, perform reconciliations and research, support M&A due diligence, maintain compliance, implement process improvements, and provide SAP/Vertex tax support and internal training.

Manage low-to-medium complexity commissioning projects: define scope and requirements, implement QA/QC, control budget and profitability, schedule and coordinate teams and contractors, perform site visits and engineering analyses, ensure code conformance, oversee closeout and documentation, and act as primary client contact.

Design, program, upgrade, and commission PLC/DCS control systems and HMIs for a cement manufacturing plant. Troubleshoot hardware and software, integrate subsystems, interface PLCs to historian/SQL via OPC UA, review/control panel layouts, mentor junior engineers, and support project execution and documentation.
