Develop and execute strategies to grow Scribner’s backlist across print, digital, audio, retail, academic, and direct-to-consumer channels. Identify repackaging and publishing opportunities, create campaigns tied to cultural and commercial moments, analyze sales and market data, and lead cross-functional collaboration with editorial, sales, marketing, publicity, design, production, rights, audio, and digital teams.

Designs up to 30 children's book titles annually, including covers and interiors, from concept through final production. Develops age-appropriate creative concepts, presents design directions, collaborates with editors and licensors, commissions and art-directs illustrators, prepares production-ready files, and supports proofing and color correction. The role also manages multiple deadlines, incorporates stakeholder feedback, and provides administrative support to the design team.

Manages corporate social media programming across multiple platforms, including content planning, publishing, community engagement, audience growth, performance reporting, and trend monitoring. Creates graphics, photography, video, and written content while supporting book campaigns, author events, partnerships, and internal social media education. Collaborates with marketing, design, and video teams to promote books and strengthen reader communities.

Supports the Simon Spotlight editorial team with scheduling, file organization, title data entry, manuscript and proof review, copywriting, project tracking, licensing coordination, communications, meeting preparation, market research, and cross-functional publishing support.

Oversee production editorial schedules and workflows for 45–60 children’s publishing titles annually. Copyedit and proofread materials for accuracy and consistency, assign and supervise freelance editors, and manage multiple titles and competing deadlines to ensure timely, high-quality publication.
