Sales Manager responsible for winning new business and expanding national and regional food and beverage accounts. Duties include prospecting, account management, contract negotiations, forecasting, sales and margin planning, bid execution, merchant relationships, category storytelling, and cross-functional coordination with supply chain, quality, finance, and operations. The role requires a hunter sales mindset, solutions-selling expertise, strong analytical and communication skills, and travel of 30–50%.

Leads a cross-functional business team supporting beverage, broth, and fruit snack customers. Develops strategic customer and innovation targets, analyzes market and consumer trends, recommends growth initiatives, manages pricing and contracts, and partners with sales to maximize customer and channel profitability. Coordinates with commercialization, sales operations, R&D, customer service, supply chain, and finance to launch and support strategic initiatives.

Provides financial analysis and reporting for plant leadership and corporate finance. Responsibilities include variance analysis, cost reduction support, manufacturing batch close, KPI reporting, inventory accuracy, reconciliations, journal entries, budgeting, forecasting, audit management, internal controls, and CAPEX tracking. The role partners closely with plant operations, logistics, and finance teams and is onsite at one of several U.S. locations.

Designs, programs, commissions, maintains, and troubleshoots industrial automation and control systems for manufacturing, packaging, process, and utility operations. Supports PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, drives, industrial networks, capital projects, system upgrades, reliability initiatives, and continuous improvement. Ensures compliance with food safety, GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, MOC, and automation change-control requirements while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and Engineering.

Analyzes customer pricing, ingredient costs, margins, profitability, and purchase price variances. Supports new item costing, pricing updates, strategic bids, budgeting, forecasting, commodity reviews, and financial modeling. Partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, and Business Management to provide actionable insights, identify profit improvement opportunities, and support business decisions.

Leads enterprise supply chain planning strategy across demand, supply, inventory, production, materials, capacity, and network planning. Oversees S&OP/IBP, inventory optimization, customer service, working capital, planning technology, analytics, automation, and AI adoption. Partners with commercial, finance, procurement, operations, and IT leaders to drive transformation, process standardization, risk management, and operational improvement. Builds and mentors planning teams, establishes talent strategies, and presents strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Coordinates training programs for manufacturing employees covering production processes, equipment operation, safety, quality, SOPs, and GMP. Delivers classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training; supports onboarding and train-the-trainer initiatives; identifies skill gaps; maintains training materials and records in LMS systems; supports audits; and evaluates training effectiveness. Partners with HR, site leadership, and subject matter experts on career pathing, documentation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Leads enterprise pricing strategy, governance, profitability analysis, margin optimization, and pricing automation. Partners cross-functionally with Commercial, R&D, Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to support pricing decisions, customer negotiations, cost analysis, and profitable growth. Oversees reporting, forecasting, dashboards, financial models, continuous improvement initiatives, and a team of Pricing Analysts.
