Provides supervised technical, administrative, and project coordination support to Project Managers. Assists with design, material selection, estimating, proposals, budgets, procurement, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, customer communication, jobsite visits, and contract compliance. The role supports construction project execution, tracks action items and reporting, and helps maintain customer relationships and business development opportunities.

Designs and develops industrial automation and distributed control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs; selects control components; creates engineering drawings, sequences of operation, and project submittals. Supports estimating, proposals, customer demonstrations, project turnovers, and scope management. Collaborates with project managers, engineers, electricians, and technicians to improve engineering quality and processes. Produces as-built documentation and supports strategic initiatives that improve delivery, quality, and cost efficiency.

Provides technical startup, commissioning, checkout, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance for building automation and control systems. Programs PLC and DDC controllers, configures networks and communication protocols, calibrates sensors and actuators, maps control points, and creates supervisory graphics and dashboards. Leads medium to large projects, manages commissioning documentation, troubleshoots HVAC, electrical, process, and life-safety systems, and mentors junior automation technicians. Work occurs in construction and industrial environments.

Provides startup, commissioning, programming, troubleshooting, and network configuration for building automation and manufacturing control systems. Calibrates devices, develops control logic, configures SCADA graphics and dashboards, manages QA/QC and commissioning documentation, and supports medium-to-large projects. Leads and mentors automation staff, contributes to standards and business development, and travels to job sites.

Manage industrial automation and HVAC controls projects from estimating and sales support through design, installation coordination, financial oversight, documentation, customer communication, and owner training. Develop customer relationships, cross-sell services, review submittals and change orders, coordinate engineering and field teams, procure subcontractors, support scheduling, and ensure project profitability and customer satisfaction.

Supports automation projects under a Project Manager by assisting with design, estimating, proposals, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, quality control, subcontractor coordination, customer communication, and project administration. The role interprets technical requirements, coordinates project activities, tracks action items, supports jobsite execution, monitors compliance with plans and specifications, and contributes to business development. It requires regular client and construction-site interaction and may lead small projects as experience develops.
