Designs and modifies aircraft interior electrical systems (cabin management, lighting, power, communications). Drafts schematics and wire diagrams, performs load and separation analyses, develops verification/test procedures per FAA, supports installations and root-cause resolution, and coordinates with project engineers and modification facilities to meet schedule and budget.

Design and analyze complex VIP aircraft monuments and mechanisms (cabinets, lavatories, tables, divans). Produce CAD models and drawings, select materials, ensure FAA compliance, optimize for manufacturability and cost, support testing, and provide engineering guidance across design and manufacturing teams.

Provide administrative support to the VP of Engineering, engineering leadership, and team: manage schedules, meetings, correspondence, SharePoint content, KPIs, employee lists, meeting minutes, action item follow-up, training coordination, catering/logistics, reception backup, and support continuous improvement and special projects.

Create and modify 2D/3D CAD detail, assembly, and installation drawings and documentation. Generate BOMs, material specs, GD&T, and finish/fastener details. Assess design trade-offs for manufacturability, cost, weight, and schedule. Participate in design reviews, manage project tasks within schedule and budget, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure regulatory and customer compliance.

Lead and manage an electrical engineering team designing, certifying, and integrating aircraft interior electrical systems. Oversee schedules, budgets, quality, staffing, training, and cross-functional coordination. Ensure compliance with technical and certification requirements, develop tools and processes, assist with cost estimates and program bids, and mentor design engineers.
