Designs complex VIP aircraft interior monuments, mechanisms, and payload items using 3D and 2D CAD. Selects materials, applies design-for-manufacturing principles, interprets specifications, and ensures compliance with FAA, quality, budget, and schedule requirements. Provides engineering guidance, supports testing and documentation, collaborates with manufacturing and design teams, and delivers solutions for custom aircraft interiors.

Leads aerospace engineering projects and teams developing aircraft interior modifications. Responsibilities include creating and managing statements of work, schedules, staffing plans, budgets, resources, performance metrics, and engineering deliverables. Supports the design, analysis, documentation, and installation of aircraft mechanical systems, including environmental control, ventilation, oxygen, water, waste, cooling, and smoke detection systems. Uses CAD tools to develop modifications, select materials and components, support manufacturing, verify FAA and customer requirements, resolve routine technical issues, and complete engineering tasks within schedule and budget constraints.

Assists project engineers in planning and executing small aerospace interior programs. Responsibilities include managing statements of work, scope changes, schedules, budgets, resources, quality standards, performance metrics, vendors, engineering reviews, and status reporting. Requires an engineering degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, Microsoft application proficiency, and eligibility to work on applicable ITAR programs.

Collaborates with engineers, designers, clients, and project leaders to translate business needs into technical requirements and safety substantiation. Reports requirements metrics and participates in validation activities. The role requires an engineering degree, preferably two years of relevant experience, aircraft engineering knowledge, and familiarity with aviation standards and requirements management software.

Manages program planning and control for aerospace development and modification programs. Oversees EVMS execution, performance measurement baselines, change control, cost management, forecasting, variance analysis, reporting, and integrated master scheduling. Supports risk management, audits, proposals, customer reporting, and program reviews while ensuring compliance with government contract requirements. Mentors team members and coordinates cross-functional stakeholders to maintain cost, schedule, and performance alignment.

Directs technical aerospace and aircraft interior programs from contract execution through delivery. Manages scope, schedules, budgets, quality, risks, earned value performance, change orders, vendors, and client communications. Coordinates engineering, certification, supply chain, operations, and modification center activities while ensuring contractual compliance. Leads milestone meetings, negotiates program parameters, mentors program managers, and reports status to clients and executives. Requires strong technical, contract, financial, leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.

Leads the talent acquisition function, recruiting team, workforce planning, and full-cycle hiring strategy. Partners with senior leaders and hiring managers to recruit specialized technical talent, especially engineering and manufacturing professionals. Oversees sourcing, selection, offers, candidate experience, recruiting metrics, ATS optimization, compliance, employer branding, vendors, and process improvement. Coaches recruiters, develops talent pipelines, manages recruiting technology and budgets, and ensures effective transitions to onboarding.

Designs, integrates, tests, certifies, and supports installation of electrical systems for commercial, VIP, and special mission aircraft interiors. Develops wire diagrams, technical documents, system architectures, verification procedures, and FAA-compliant design packages. Coordinates with clients, vendors, FAA designees, modification facilities, and project engineers to resolve issues and meet cost and schedule targets. Reviews peer work, supports bids and scheduling, and provides technical guidance to other engineers.
