Rings bells for The Salvation Army Christmas Program, monitors donation kettles, and courteously greets the public at assigned outdoor locations. The role requires standing for extended periods in varying weather, following instructions with limited supervision, maintaining appropriate dress, and handling light objects. No formal education, prior experience, licenses, or certifications are required.

Lead county fundraising and community relations efforts, manage and coach the fundraising team, cultivate major individual and corporate donors, secure sponsorships and in-kind support, develop development plans and donor stewardship, coordinate volunteer engagement and promotional materials to meet annual revenue goals.

Serve as chief spokesperson and media liaison for Travis and Williamson Counties. Lead public relations, direct mail, storytelling-driven fundraising, community partnerships, events, and outreach. Supervise development staff, act as Public Information Officer for disaster services, produce communications materials, manage media placement, and evaluate outreach effectiveness to grow awareness and donor support.

Plans and manages the major gifts program, including identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding 200–250 donors. Develops fundraising strategies, proposals, multi-year commitments, and revenue plans; maintains donor records; coordinates events and vendors; and works with community leaders, volunteers, boards, and corporate leaders to achieve fundraising goals.

Cultivates and solicits corporate and foundation donors, manages donor portfolios and prospect pipelines, develops fundraising and stewardship strategies, analyzes giving potential, presents proposals, and reports weekly financial outcomes. Partners with volunteers to strengthen corporate relationships and convert volunteer-engaged organizations into donors. Represents The Salvation Army professionally and travels within the North Texas Area Command for meetings.
