Manage vessel availability by diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and fluid system issues; plan and execute shipyard/major maintenance projects; ensure regulatory compliance (ABS, USCG, regional air/pollution); control budgets, document actions, and promote safe work practices while remaining available for coast‑wide travel and around‑the‑clock consultation.

Manage repair and maintenance of assigned tugs and barges to maximize vessel availability and regulatory compliance. Diagnose and oversee repairs, plan shipyard projects, set budgets, approve parts and vendors, support audits and emergency responses, and coordinate with Port Captain, HSQE, and operations teams.
