Industrial Manufacturing Engineering Intern supporting production-process evaluation and continuous-improvement projects at a manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include analyzing workflows and operational data, conducting time studies, process mapping and capacity analysis, identifying safety, quality, efficiency and cost improvements, and collaborating with engineering, production, maintenance and quality teams. This is a full-time, 12-week summer internship with potential future full-time opportunities.

Processes vendor invoices, posts accruals and payments, reconciles vendor statements, resolves discrepancies, and maintains vendor master data. Supports month-end close, check runs, audits, vendor inquiries, and payment logs while following company policies and safety procedures.

Leads HR programs across multiple sites, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition support, compliance, workforce planning, learning and development, and employee engagement. Advises managers on workplace concerns and investigations, ensures consistent policy application, analyzes workforce trends, and supports organizational effectiveness across geographically distributed teams. The role also contributes to onboarding, career development, EHS compliance, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Develop and grow national distributor accounts for MAPEI’s Construction and Restoration Systems business. The role creates sales strategies, builds relationships with distributor decision-makers, identifies new business, analyzes account and regional performance, coordinates product launches and training, supports pricing and product positioning, conducts business reviews, monitors competitors, and represents MAPEI at industry events. Extensive travel throughout the United States is required.

Sell MAPEI construction chemicals and building materials through demonstrations, presentations, samples, and tailored solutions. Achieve sales targets, develop customer relationships, maintain a prospect pipeline, and provide market intelligence on customer preferences, competitors, and trends. Represent MAPEI at trade shows and networking events while maintaining safety and quality standards throughout the assigned territory.

Manage and expand compensation programs across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. Responsibilities include salary and wage structures, market pricing, job evaluation, pay-equity audits, annual compensation planning, sales and variable-pay programs, budgeting, reporting, executive recommendations, and compensation technology initiatives. The role advises leaders, ensures compliance, supports a geographically dispersed manufacturing workforce, and serves as the compensation business lead for Oracle HCM.

Manage regional sales by leading representatives, executing strategic plans, developing forecasts and territories, selling through distributors and contractors, delivering product demonstrations, recruiting and training staff, maintaining client relationships, tracking performance, and representing the company at trade shows.

Design, implement, and maintain DCS/PLC-based process automation systems; develop HMIs/visualizations; coordinate projects, procurement, installation, commissioning, and maintenance; troubleshoot control logic; analyze control data for optimization; maintain documentation and ensure QMS and safety compliance.
