Responsibilities require strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, knowledge of accounting principles, attention to detail, and a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.

Provide desktop hardware and software support, troubleshoot technical issues, install and maintain operating systems and applications, manage user accounts, and document resolutions. The role also involves cable TV and internet system installation, maintenance, and repair; equipment procurement and inventory support; user training; and collaboration on IT projects. Requires weekend work every other week, physical work at heights, lifting 50+ pounds, and a valid driver's license.

Processes and verifies vendor invoices, matches invoices with purchase orders, enters transactions in Workday, assists with payment runs and month-end close, reconciles vendor statements, resolves discrepancies, responds to vendors, maintains records, and supports compliance with internal controls and regulations.

Supervise day-to-day desktop support across hospital sites, ensuring SLA-driven ticket resolution, endpoint deployment and lifecycle management, asset inventory, and 24/7 support coordination. Lead, mentor, and evaluate technicians, enforce desktop standards and compliance (HIPAA, NY DOH), drive process improvements, and support desktop-related projects and EHR hardware readiness (Meditech/Epic). Serve as escalation point for high-impact clinical IT issues and report on service performance.

Perform month-end close activities including preparing, reviewing, and posting journal entries; maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts; support annual audit preparation; maintain schedules; contribute to process improvements and accounting systems projects; assist on other assigned accounting tasks.
