Serve as first chair in employment and workers' compensation litigation, managing cases from intake through trial, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Develop case strategy, draft pleadings and motions, conduct direct and cross-examinations, negotiate settlements, supervise and mentor junior attorneys, coordinate experts, manage litigation budgets, and support client development and business generation.

Draft and file pleadings, motions, briefs, complaints, and discovery documents; conduct legal research; collaborate on case strategy with attorneys and staff; manage assigned caseload and communications; perform other litigation-related duties.

Handle workers' compensation cases from intake to resolution: manage dockets, prepare and attend depositions, respond to client inquiries, direct non-attorneys, and collaborate with senior staff and support teams.

Manage a high-volume California workers' compensation caseload: review and evaluate files, maintain case notes, communicate with parties, attend WCAB hearings (remote with possible travel), and handle e‑filing/EAMS and AME/PQME processes. Provide client service throughout case lifecycle and perform other assigned duties.

Perform client intake and fact-gathering, evaluate potential employment claims, draft legal correspondence and recommendations, manage high caseloads, maintain case documentation in the case management system, collaborate with attorneys, provide client updates, and meet productivity and quality benchmarks.

Manage a high-volume workers' compensation caseload: evaluate files, assess case value, calculate demands, handle negotiations and settlements, communicate with parties, review QME reports, conduct depositions as needed, and travel to trial locations when required.

Prepare and organize workers' compensation case files, enter and update case data, ensure filing compliance, perform coverage searches, communicate with attorneys, maintain physical and electronic records, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and assist on special projects.

Lead resource for the Workers' Compensation filing team: mentor staff, answer workflow questions, audit filing processes for compliance and accuracy, collaborate with attorneys/paralegals to resolve filing issues, support daily operations, and assist with training and process improvements.
