Contract DevOps engineer responsible for Linux production operations, cloud (AWS) infrastructure, scripting (Bash/Python), monitoring, security and encryption, and supporting highly available 24x7 web service delivery. Work mostly onsite (80%) as part of a small team to operate, tune, and automate infrastructure and deployments.

Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift or Objective-C. Lead end-to-end Microsoft Dynamics AX/365 implementations: gather and document requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, create functional design documents, configure/develop and validate solutions, deploy systems, manage medium-sized projects, support presales as SME, and coordinate teams in a consulting environment with regular travel.

Maintain and enhance the QLS-VO app server codebase using C and Pro*C. Develop TCP/IP socket code, write Oracle queries, compile on Linux, and perform testing and troubleshooting. Support Pro*C compilation and relational DB / Cron understanding.

Design and lead electrical building-energy systems for large commercial projects (hospitals, schools). Provide HVAC and central plant engineering expertise, coordinate clients and contractors, mentor project staff, manage budgets, resources, and quality to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Design and model data in MemSQL (row and column stores), optimize SQL and stored procedures for performance, debug MemSQL performance issues, recommend columnar load optimizations, develop solution patterns, data flow diagrams and architectural specs, integrate with ETL tools, present solutions to technical and business stakeholders, and manage client deliverables independently.

Develop and maintain e-commerce websites, mobile applications, and internal web-based productivity tools. Collaborate in an Agile team, gather and translate requirements, optimize functionality and usability, and own assigned projects and special initiatives.

Design, code, test and deploy .NET applications (about 50% hands-on). Provide strategic technical guidance, define team patterns and practices, ensure adoption of technologies, and mentor the team while staying current with tools and methodologies.

Maintain, support, and optimize RedHat/CentOS Linux systems and enterprise infrastructure. Provide application deployments, upgrades, virtualization and storage support, second-tier Service Desk escalation, disaster recovery, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
