Leads regional business development and growth across California’s TK-12 and higher education markets. Responsibilities include market analysis, account expansion, client relationship management, proposal and pursuit leadership, strategic partnerships, networking, thought leadership, and collaboration with architecture, engineering, marketing, and executive teams. The role also supports regional hiring, succession planning, mentorship, and practice growth while representing the firm with education-sector stakeholders.

Lead and manage architectural projects through all phases—pre-design to construction administration. Supervise project architects and teams, ensure timeliness, budget compliance, quality construction documents, client communication, technical guidance, and on-site construction administration.

Manage project financials by ensuring contract compliance, accurate billing, AR/AP processing, ERP project setup, month‑end close support, WIP preparation, internal controls, and financial analysis to support Project Managers and Operations.

Design and oversee electrical distribution, power and lighting systems for commercial and K-12 projects. Produce single-line diagrams, wiring and layout drawings, specifications, construction documents, and perform vendor drawing reviews, QA checks, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and budgeting/scheduling comparisons.

Design and coordinate HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial and K-12 facilities: perform load calculations, equipment selection and sizing, Revit and AutoCAD documentation, QA/QC, clash coordination, mentor junior staff, conduct site inspections, and ensure installations meet specifications and codes.

Produce and edit construction drawings and specifications for Division 27/28 low-voltage systems. Provide design and project management support for structured cabling, PA/intercom, sound reinforcement, video distribution, intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, ERRC, and fire alarm. Coordinate with architects, project managers, engineers, clients, and contractors, ensure code compliance, and use Revit/AutoCAD and Bluebeam to deliver accurate, well-documented designs on schedule.

Design HVAC systems for commercial and K-12 projects including load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork and piping sizing, Revit and AutoCAD modeling, QA/QC of construction documents, coordinate with design teams, mentor junior staff, produce drawings/schedules, and perform site inspections to ensure code compliance.

Provide administrative and office support to firm leadership: schedule and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, set up conferences and events, draft letters/contracts, assist with proposals and client requests, perform internet research, serve as back-up receptionist, liaise with vendors, and support special projects in a fast-paced professional services environment.

Provide second-level IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals; configure and deploy workstations; troubleshoot hardware/software and network issues; document tickets; mentor Level 1 analysts; onboard/offboard users; maintain Microsoft 365/Azure AD/Intune/Autopilot and RMM tools.
