Provide expert guidance and operational support for journal evaluation, indexing (AGRICOLA/Alma), open access compliance, research impact indicators, training, analytics reporting, and stakeholder coordination to advance research integrity and public access.

Administer and maintain a federal librarys digital preservation repository and digitization infrastructure. Configure workflows, metadata schemas, and permissions; validate ingests and fixity; monitor storage and system performance; manage change control; integrate catalog systems; support backups, replication, and disaster recovery; and document configurations and operational metrics.

Prepare, assess, and track library materials for large-scale digitization. Extract and format bibliographic metadata (MARC), coordinate with vendors, perform QA on digital assets, maintain production statistics, and collaborate with cataloging and federal staff to ensure preservation and accessibility.

Manage and improve digital library systems, metadata workflows, and data integrations. Validate APIs, enhance UX and accessibility, develop reporting and automation, and produce documentation and training to support discoverability and interoperability of research outputs.

Perform original and complex cataloging and metadata creation for artists' books and related materials using RDA, LCC, and LCSH. Create and update bibliographic and item records in OCLC and local ILS/LSP, prepare physical processing and archival rehousing, coordinate with Smithsonian staff, and produce monthly progress reports while following preservation and collections-care practices.

Perform original and copy cataloging of monographs and serials (primarily U.S. federal publications) using OCLC Connexion and MARC21/RDA/AACR2 standards; update bibliographic records, assign LCSH and authorized headings, manage holdings and serial patterns, research name authorities, and maintain metrics and activity reports.

Catalog and maintain bibliographic records for foreign-language and English materials in an ILS using MARC21 and library standards. Classify serials and monographs, recommend headings/classifications, and keep records aligned with NACO/BIBCO practices while staying current with cataloging standards.

Serve as project lead to assess, process, arrange, describe, preserve, and manage archival collections. Develop processing plans, create finding aids and metadata, rehouse materials, ensure quality assurance, coordinate with Library of Congress staff, and track/report project progress.

Generate new business through face-to-face prospecting and presentations, build and maintain regional account plans, manage CRM activity, coordinate with marketing and sales teams, pursue opportunities, attend trade shows, and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets while supporting municipal government clients.

Manage cataloging and metadata for print and digital historical collections using standards (MARC21, Dublin Core, MODS). Support accessioning, digitization workflows, quality control, controlled vocabularies, and collaboration with archivists to ensure discoverability and preservation within federal workflows.
