The role requires frequent driving to customers and prospects, handling product samples, and working around mechanical equipment, fumes, airborne particles, wet conditions, and loud noise.

Ensure safe, reliable operation of plant electrical systems through design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements. Lead preventive/predictive maintenance, AC drive reliability, inspections, RCFA, regulatory compliance, capital project support, budget management, and cross-functional coordination. Supervise E&I staff, manage vendors/contractors, provide technical support for 24/7 operations, and train supervisors.

Manages capital and major expense projects end-to-end: defines scope, estimates costs, schedules work, procures materials, evaluates vendors, coordinates engineering and operations teams, enforces safety and compliance, controls costs, and reports project status using monitoring tools.

Optimize pulp and paper manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production, lead trials and capital projects, develop procedures, train staff, coordinate with vendors, support environmental and wastewater plant operations, and participate on the on-call management team.

Design, configure, and implement process control strategies, HMIs, and PLC systems; monitor and troubleshoot control systems; create documentation; support maintenance and operations; lead control-related project implementation and start-up activities.

Serve as the on-site IT and OT administrator for a 24/7 manufacturing facility: resolve escalated IT/OT issues, maintain network and systems, support projects and deployments, develop site SMEs, manage vendor support, ensure cybersecurity alignment, and drive continuous improvement and business continuity planning.

Optimize and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, cost, and productivity. Lead process improvement projects, trials, startups/shutdowns, cross-functional teams, operator training, reporting, and process documentation. Promote and use area IT systems like PI, Proficy, and Cognex.

Represent and sell the companys products and services within a defined territory to grow revenue. Develop new sales with existing customers, meet targets, identify opportunities, maintain client relationships, and escalate issues. Maintain product knowledge, execute special projects, and perform other duties as assigned.
