Manage on-site mechanical, electrical, and commissioning installation projects for automated material handling systems at customer facilities. Responsibilities include safety execution, personnel and contractor supervision, scheduling, resource coordination, customer liaison, risk and change management, quality and document control, reporting, project closure, and team development. The role requires extensive domestic and overseas travel, technical equipment knowledge, and the ability to lead installation teams safely and on schedule.

Manage and reconcile intercompany payables/receivables, administer Concur expense system and corporate charge programs, prepare month-end financial statements and journal entries, manage cash disbursements/wires, reconcile key accounts and trade show expenses, support audits, tax filings, ERP implementations, and train accounting staff.

Lead multi-site field operations teams for large installation projects, overseeing hiring, safety, quality, schedules, budgets, contractors, and customer relationships to deliver projects on time, on budget, and to specification.

Support engineering, installation, and service teams on product design, process improvements, quoting, and project documentation. Participate in meetings, create presentations, gather field data, and apply continuous improvement tools to deliver technical solutions with limited supervision.

Manage cost accounting for Machine Tools Division including recording, reconciling and analyzing costs, billing and invoicing, intercompany billing, inventory cycle counts, warranty and installation accounting, journal entries, and collaboration with operations and project managers to ensure accurate order fulfillment and financial reporting.

Design, integrate, and modify hardware and software controls for CNC lathes and peripheral automation. Develop PLC ladder logic, HMIs, and motion control programs; create IO lists; debug and install systems at customer sites; coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams; manage multiple projects and schedules; research new interfacing equipment and maintain technical documentation.

Work with installation teams to document, standardize, and train on installation methods using Lean tools. Develop work instructions, job time standards, training, and quotation documentation. Collect field data, analyze process gaps, and drive cross-functional improvements to reduce waste and improve quality and productivity.

Provide applications and installation support for Murata CNC lathes and integrated loaders: develop machining processes, create/validate CNC programs, install and qualify tooling and peripherals, perform acceptance runoffs, troubleshoot Fanuc/PLC and loader programs, train customer operators, and travel extensively to customer sites for turnkey projects.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives for installation teams using Lean methodologies. Create work instructions, job time standards, training, and tools; analyze field data to eliminate waste, improve quality and productivity; coordinate cross-functional teams and develop quotation documentation translating methods into project time estimates.

Manage large ($5–$10M) robotic automation projects end-to-end: scope, schedule, cost, risk, change orders, documentation, customer liaison, site visits, installation, commissioning, and handover while coordinating mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
