Manage tax engagements with minimal supervision, perform engagement reviews, supervise and mentor staff, conduct tax research, strengthen client relationships, improve team profitability, meet firm deadlines, and work toward obtaining a CPA. May require occasional evenings, weekends, and domestic travel; positions may be remote or hybrid depending on needs.

Process accounts payable transactions including invoice coding, weekly check runs, ACH extractions, vendor reconciliations, credit card and expense report reconciliation, 1099 preparation, and support time & billing. Respond to vendor inquiries, maintain vendor accounts, resolve suspense items and support queue tickets, and assist with related finance projects.

Under close supervision, complete tax and audit engagements, conduct business-specific research, analyze data, identify and communicate issues, compile reports and recommendations, develop client relationships, and perform other assigned duties. Perform ongoing bookkeeping for assigned clients: record transactions and journal entries, complete bank and credit card reconciliations, maintain general ledgers and trial balance reports, meet monthly close deadlines, communicate routine bookkeeping matters with clients, follow workflows and internal controls, and assist with onboarding and other duties.

Perform tax and/or audit engagement tasks under supervision, identify and communicate issues, conduct business-specific research and data analysis, compile reports and recommendations, build client relationships, and support partners and managers on assigned projects during the busy season internship.
