Lead development and management of airworthiness certification artifacts for safety-critical airborne systems. Support DO-178C (software) and DO-254 (hardware) certification planning, produce accomplishment summaries (SAS/HAS), compliance matrices, audits, and coordinate with certification authorities using MBSE and digital engineering environments.

Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project and GASP; collect updates; produce EVM reports (SPI, BCWS, BCWP); run critical path, staffing, what-if analyses; audit schedules; author planning documents and support leadership with schedule recovery and reporting.

Lead business development for airborne guidance and navigation products, driving market penetration, capture planning, and RFP responses. Build customer relationships, design go-to-market strategies, analyze DoD and commercial requirements, maintain competitive analyses, and manage cross-functional capture teams. Position requires significant travel and DoD industry engagement.

Serve as primary customer liaison and manage contracting officer/Buyer relationships. Negotiate proposals, review terms and conditions (UCC, FAR/DFARS), track contracts, orders, funding, export authorizations, and metrics. Coordinate with program, engineering, finance, and trade compliance teams, support SIOP and vendor-managed inventory initiatives, and mentor contracts team members.

Support design, development, and manufacturing of aerospace components. Create work instructions, troubleshoot non-conforming hardware, implement corrective actions, validate processes, and optimize production with Lean methods.

Support administration and execution of DoD, U.S. Government, and commercial aerospace contracts throughout the lifecycle. Review and process purchase orders, NDAs, modifications, and RFQs; maintain audit-ready contract files; track deliverables, funding, and milestones; assist with compliance (FAR/DFARS/ITAR/EAR), proposals, customer communications, and cross-functional coordination. Enter orders into ERP, generate reports, and support audits and contract closeouts under general supervision.

Lead complex aerospace and defense development programs and IRAD efforts from concept through transition. Define scope, budgets, schedules, and success criteria; coordinate cross-functional teams; manage risks, issues, and performance; serve as primary customer interface; support proposals, contracts, and continuous improvement of program management practices.
