Design and build pixel-perfect, high-performance web applications from wireframes using standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and advanced JavaScript. Rapidly prototype, optimize and debug front-end code, integrate with backend web services, create reusable components, and collaborate on user experience decisions within an Agile process.

Manage IT projects (applications, infrastructure, systems, storage, networks, security) from inception through launch. Provide interface functional design for an enterprise software suite: gather interface business requirements, document system interoperability, author functional/design specs, collaborate with business and development teams, support testing and defect resolution, and drive business optimization and transformation. Hands-on design and cross-domain coordination required.

Manage project scope, schedules, resources and stakeholder relationships. Develop communication plans, define success criteria, track milestones, report status/risks, and analyze costs/time/scope to ensure delivery.

Design and develop web-based UIs, middle-tier components, data access layers and T-SQL. Apply OOP principles, work independently, collaborate with BAs and QA, and use TFS for source control.

Lead Agile business analysis for migrating state agency paper processes to an online ADEQ portal. Write user stories and acceptance criteria, create basic wireframes, coach product owners new to Agile, present sprint demos, gather/document complex business requirements, ensure standards, and prepare proposals for senior management.

Prepare SDM documentation (SOW, BRS, FS, Test Plan), develop and execute test plans and cases, document and track defects, and define QA processes and procedures to ensure applications meet business requirements.

Participate in implementing a new state education data repository: analyze source data, create source-to-target mappings, and develop views and stored procedures. Assist application teams by designing databases from business requirements using enterprise data modeling best practices.
