Manage day-to-day accounting: process transactions, maintain the general ledger, prepare/review reconciliations, compile and analyze financial reports, and support the Director of Accounting. Supervise staff in a fast-paced digital media environment.

Design, develop, test, debug, and implement enterprise Java cloud applications. Build microservices, manage deployments on Docker/Kubernetes and AWS, integrate NoSQL data stores, collaborate across teams, and monitor application performance.

Support day-to-day accounting, including month/quarter/year close, general ledger reconciliations, consolidation, GAAP financial statement preparation, managerial reporting, and responding to auditors, management and regulators. Implement and administer accounting policies and provide written financial commentary.

Serve as the primary liaison between clients and insurance agents: answer client questions, manage policies, pre-fill applications, and provide high-touch client service to ensure timely, accurate processing.

Perform inside sales via cold calling, networking and lead databases to identify new business, grow existing accounts, provide industry/product consultative support, and build partnerships. Use client databases, maintain professional phone presence, and manage multiple tasks; basic Microsoft Office skills required.
