Design and develop primary and secondary mechanical components and subsystems for stellarator fusion systems. Produce CAD models, drawings, and specifications; perform thermal, structural, and electromagnetic analysis; design tooling; support manufacturing, commissioning, and qualification testing; and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure manufacturability and successful first builds.

Own requirements, design reviews, procurement interfaces, verification, and installation support while ensuring deterministic real‑time behavior, fault handling, and high reliability for large scientific facilities.

Partner with People leadership to manage the employee lifecycle at a fast-growing hardtech startup: lead employee relations and investigations, run performance management and L&D programs, support compensation and benefits, ensure HR operations and compliance (including OSHA), drive engagement and DEI initiatives, and implement HR data and systems.

Design, build, and test high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets. Develop specifications, run multiphysics simulations, create design tools and analysis software, support manufacturing and vendor collaboration, implement tooling, execute magnet testing, and report progress against program milestones.

Manage FP&A for high‑CapEx projects: build and maintain project finance models, partner with Engineering and Supply Chain on procurement and vendor decisions, implement FP&A systems and processes, own the corporate 3‑statement model, produce executive dashboards and board materials, and guide budget management and CapEx controls across operations.

Own and govern top-level CAD assemblies and PDM processes using Siemens NX and Teamcenter. Maintain configuration integrity, manage Teamcenter administration and workflows, coordinate interfaces with systems and subassembly leads, enforce modeling/drafting standards, deliver training and documentation, and support PDM integrations and license/vendor activities.

Support design, analysis, and testing of high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets. Develop analytical models, run multiphysics simulations (Ansys/COMSOL), process test data, build Python analysis tools and dashboards, document specifications and procedures, coordinate with manufacturing and vendors, and track program metrics. Identify data quality issues and contribute to magnet design, manufacturing, and test activities.
