Supports Wellington Management’s private investments legal team across private equity and private credit deal lifecycles, fund formation, legal data tracking, workflow and pipeline tools, recordkeeping, playbooks, confidentiality agreements, and routine transaction agreements. Collaborates with legal, investment, business, operational, and external provider teams while organizing information and improving scalable processes and knowledge management.

Review surveillance alerts and trading activity to identify potential insider trading, market manipulation, or misuse of material non-public information. Conduct investigations, document findings, escalate issues to Compliance/Legal, and perform follow-up analysis. Manage end-to-end private equity deal lifecycle including deal approval, execution/settlement, restriction tracking, corporate actions and liquidity events; coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors; analyze legal documentation; reconcile positions and cash; enhance processes, controls and supporting technology; and provide data for performance and reporting.

Support public capital markets by reviewing, negotiating, and implementing investment-related agreements. Act as primary contact for Public Markets Legal and investment professionals, handle complex documentation issues, improve contracting processes, and support implementation of legal technology (including AI and Power Apps) to increase efficiency.

Support Product Reporting for Fixed Income products by producing accurate standard and customized client materials, writing performance/attribution commentary, tailoring portfolio positioning/outlook, peer-reviewing deliverables, and serving as an internal subject matter expert aligned with Product Management and Client Group.

Lead design, implement, deploy, and support the IBOR backend platform. Build scalable, secure Java/Spring services, develop RESTful APIs, collaborate with analysts, PMs, architects, and QA, and use CI/CD and AI-assisted tools to maintain a business-critical production environment.
