Maintains industry knowledge, resolves documentation issues, builds professional relationships, and promotes best practices.

Leads the strategy, development, profitability, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management of personal lines insurance products. Oversees market analysis, product design, pricing and underwriting performance, risk management, filings, implementation, and optimization. Serves as the primary business owner and coordinates cross-functional initiatives with underwriting, actuarial, claims, operations, IT, compliance, distribution, and marketing teams. Provides product guidance and supports competitive positioning, agent experience, and portfolio performance improvements.

Supports PMO planning, execution, and governance for US Retail programs and projects. Translates business needs into requirements, specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria; conducts current-state and gap analyses; tracks risks, dependencies, milestones, and action items; maintains project documentation and portfolio reporting; supports UAT, change management, benefits tracking, and PMO process improvement.

Own assigned areas of the month-end close, including complex journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, trial balance review, accounts payable, expense management, financial reporting, and audit support. The Senior Accountant will work with large datasets and advanced Excel models, support system integrations, document processes, and collaborate with Finance leadership, FP&A, and operational teams in a growing insurance brokerage environment.

Manage and grow a complex commercial insurance client portfolio as a strategic advisor. Lead renewal strategies, coverage analysis, exposure reviews, carrier negotiations, policy administration, compliance documentation, and claims advocacy. Build executive relationships, present recommendations, identify expansion and cross-selling opportunities, and collaborate with producers, account managers, and technical specialists to deliver high-quality service.

Supports daily accounting and month-end closing activities, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accounts receivable aging, doubtful debt provisions, fixed-asset depreciation, accruals, prepayments, VAT and tax reviews, and management reporting. Maintains accurate accounting records under company policies, prepares audit documentation, and coordinates with external auditors.

Supports PMO programs and projects across the US Retail business by eliciting requirements, documenting specifications, conducting gap analyses, tracking delivery risks and dependencies, supporting UAT and change management, and maintaining governance documentation. The role partners with Program Managers and stakeholders, contributes to portfolio reporting, supports business cases, and helps improve PMO templates, tools, and procedures.
