Responsible for standard costing, cost variance analysis, labor and overhead rate calculations, inventory reconciliation, job close procedures, transfer pricing, financial reporting, budgeting, and maintaining costing data integrity. The role collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, purchasing, and accounting teams in an office and plant environment.

Maintains employee HR records and compensation and benefits documentation in the HRIS, answers employee HR questions, supports the HR Supervisor with administrative duties, and assists with safety functions at the Tifton facility.

Calculates and tracks labor, raw material, overhead, inventory, and other operating costs. Analyzes the cost impact of product design, materials, and manufacturing changes; evaluates pricing and productivity factors; prepares ad hoc summaries and variance reports; and implements cost accounting policies, systems, and procedures.

Processes accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions while providing general accounting support to the plant site accounting department. The role requires regular use of computers, telephones, and office equipment.

Processes supplier invoices, verifies approvals and receiving documentation, codes invoices, maintains accounts payable files, manages supplier setup and inquiries, reviews aging and unvouchered receipt reports, prepares month-end journal entries, reconciles receipts to the general ledger, and confirms interbranch balances.

Support paper/polywoven packaging plant operations by driving process improvements, cost reduction, safety and quality compliance (HACCP, GMP, SQF). Troubleshoot production issues, lead validations, develop procedures and training, manage process projects, coordinate with maintenance, supervisors and engineering, and prepare capital justifications.

Process and administer hourly payroll, manage accounts payable, and support general accounting department operations for the Summerville, SC location.
