Lead optical engineering research, design, simulation, testing, characterization, and qualification for high-end semiconductor metrology tools. Own light sources, optical fibers, optical modules, physical modeling, lab setups, vendor management, and technical documentation. Collaborate with hardware and systems teams to deliver opto-mechanical and electro-optical modules and support production and service transfer.

Leads end-to-end optical system architecture and multidisciplinary development for semiconductor metrology tools. Responsibilities include performance budgeting, algorithm and data analysis, cross-functional technical decisions, system integration, testing, calibration, diagnostics, manufacturing transfer, customer support, and mentoring engineers.
