Lead preparation of U.S. GAAP external financial statements and footnotes for the upstream business, coordinate audits, mentor reporting staff, research complex accounting issues, maintain SOX controls and debt covenant compliance, analyze operating and liquidity trends, and drive process improvements across reporting, controls and systems.

Prepare U.S. GAAP-compliant external financial statements and footnotes, support consolidated reporting, liaise with external auditors, maintain debt covenant compliance, research and implement accounting pronouncements (ASC 606, ASC 842, ARO), produce management and bank reports, perform financial analysis and reporting process improvements, and support due diligence and special accounting projects.

Process and reconcile vendor invoices and field tickets for oil and gas services, code costs to centers/AFE/lease accounts, resolve discrepancies, maintain AP records, support month-end close, collaborate with procurement/operations/finance, and help implement AP process improvements and automation.

Serve as a trusted HR advisor for assigned business units while building Caturus Training & Development function. Responsibilities include employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, HR metrics/insights, and designing/facilitating supervisory and leadership development programs for field and corporate personnel.

Manage federal, state, and local tax compliance for major capital projects including an LNG export facility. Coordinate third‑party tax advisors, oversee partnership and corporate tax filings, sales/use and indirect taxes, review project expenditures, manage audits and responses, pursue state/local tax incentives, and advise internal teams to minimize tax liabilities.

Lead preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for downstream operations. Manage consolidation, close processes, variance analysis, SOX compliance, external audits, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements. Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, tax, treasury, FP&A, and leadership. Drive reporting process improvements, maintain internal controls, and mentor financial reporting staff.

Support downstream accounting and financial reporting: prepare journal entries and reconciliations, manage month-end close, analyze variances, ensure U.S. GAAP compliance, support audits, and collaborate with operations, commercial, supply, and finance teams to improve processes and account for inventory, transportation, and product movements.
