Responsible for industrial engineering activities including method analysis, material flow, machine loading, capacity studies, labor planning, and manufacturing capability records. The role identifies production problems, develops improvement programs, reduces maintenance costs, improves output, supports manufacturing systems, and collaborates with engineering, production, sales, sourcing, and manufacturing leadership.

The Electrical Specialist oversees new product development and transformer projects, guiding design engineers and supporting technical operations while ensuring compliance with standards and quality assurance.

Leads site-wide training and workforce development, including onboarding, technical and operational training, safety compliance, certifications, leadership development, LMS administration, and continuous improvement. Partners with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and HR to identify skill gaps, maintain qualification records, support career pathways, and improve workforce capability in a manufacturing environment.

Manage multiple engineered transformer manufacturing projects from kickoff through closeout. Serve as the primary customer liaison, coordinate engineering, operations, logistics, suppliers, and service teams, resolve issues and conflicts, manage change orders, track schedules and milestones, and report project performance and financial health using SAP and Qlik. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and project execution skills.

Lead and coordinate internal teams and vendors to deliver capital and expansion projects on time, within scope and budget. Develop scopes, detailed project plans, allocate resources, manage changes and risks, track performance, maintain documentation, oversee project/manufacturing engineers, escalate issues, and manage stakeholder relationships while mentoring direct reports.

This role involves executing electrical designs for transformers, reviewing design work, and collaborating with teams to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.

Supports entry-level electrical design engineering activities focused on transformer principles, design projects, design-program verification, presentations, and understanding manufacturing flow. The intern creates simple transformer designs, observes design reviews, and collaborates with engineering and operational teams in shop-floor and office environments.

Executes portions of transformer electrical designs, reviews design characteristics, maintains design and manufacturing documentation, evaluates products and processes for cost efficiency and reliability, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, marketing, customers, and sourcing teams. The role applies electrical design methods, data analysis, problem-solving, FEA, DFM, and robust design principles in shop-floor and office environments.

Prepares technical proposals and bid packages for power transformers by reviewing RFQs, interpreting industry standards, developing compliant and cost-optimized designs, and performing design verification. Creates technical documentation, cost estimates, clarifications, and compliance materials while coordinating with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and customers. Supports technical discussions, evaluates risks, analyzes costs, tracks bid performance, and contributes to standardization and process improvements.

Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned commodities: sourcing, supplier selection and negotiation, purchase orders, inventory planning, and supplier performance. Use SAP/MRP to ensure material availability, drive cost reductions, support NPIs, and report key supply chain metrics while partnering with cross-functional teams.
