Manages general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and month-, quarter-, and year-end close processes. Prepares payroll reports, supports audits, tracks inventory, grants, receivables, bad debt, and product-sale payments. Guides accounting staff, supports the Accounting Manager and CFO, maintains internal controls, and collaborates across the council. Requires strong accounting knowledge, Excel proficiency, confidentiality, organization, communication, and willingness to travel.
