Develop and revise U.S. Air Force public health Career Development Courses, Qualification Training Packages, lesson plans, test items, and training references using ISD and ADDIE methodologies. Analyze and validate course content, incorporate technician and student feedback, collaborate with subject matter experts and DoD leadership, maintain training records, support workshops and education plans, and prepare monthly and technical reports.

Manages contractor staff, resources, deliverables, and compliance across multiple Federal task orders, projects, and locations. Provides executive administrative and program support for CDC operations, including calendar and meeting coordination, briefing materials, minutes, conference logistics, travel processing, records and tracking systems, onboarding, communications, procurement, office moves, facilities requests, and standard operating procedures. Coordinates with CDC staff, government agencies, academic institutions, vendors, and program leadership while maintaining accurate documentation and administrative continuity.

Supports the cybersecurity posture of assigned DoD information systems by maintaining RMF documentation, SSPs, POA&Ms, and eMASS records. Performs continuous monitoring, vulnerability analysis, STIG compliance validation, audit evidence collection, and incident response coordination. Partners with system owners, administrators, engineers, and ISSMs to resolve security issues and maintain compliance with NIST and DoD requirements.

Leads cybersecurity oversight for assigned systems and enclaves, directing RMF execution and Authority to Operate activities. Manages vulnerability assessments, risk posture, POA&M tracking, remediation, security policies, and compliance with NIST and DoD requirements. Supervises ISSOs and security personnel while coordinating with Authorizing Officials, system owners, engineers, assessors, and leadership. Provides executive risk briefings, audit support, security training, and continuous monitoring oversight.

Writes, edits, publishes, and maintains public-facing and internal web content, documentation, and database content for a federal highway research program. Ensures SEO, accessibility, image quality, link integrity, content accuracy, and certification compliance. Creates training materials and trains staff on web standards and publishing processes. Requires hands-on CMS experience, technical editing, quality control, and Section 508 remediation. The role is onsite in McLean, VA and/or Washington, DC, contingent on contract award and a favorable federal background check.

Manage the end-to-end production of a federal quarterly magazine across concurrent issues. Responsibilities include editorial development, writing, substantive editing, proofreading, production scheduling, version control, stakeholder approvals, Section 508 compliance, distribution, web posting, archiving, author interviews, and coordination with technical, legal, public affairs, design, printing, and web teams.

Leads the editorial lifecycle for complex Federal highway research publications, from outline through print, electronic, and web publication. Supervises and mentors editors and writers; performs substantive editing, copyediting, proofreading, fact checking, reference verification, and copyright clearance. Enforces GPO, agency, and Chicago style standards; ensures Section 508 accessibility, version control, quality assurance, and technical accuracy. Coordinates reviews with subject matter experts, management, counsel, and public affairs.

Lead a federal research communications and publishing program for FHWA, overseeing approximately 20 writers, editors, designers, web specialists, and multimedia producers. Own portfolio scheduling, staffing, resource allocation, quality control, client relationships, reporting, risk management, workforce continuity, and contract delivery. Supervise contractor personnel, translate client priorities into assignments, manage technical publications and communications products, maintain project tracking, and interface with federal contracting officials. The role is onsite in McLean, Virginia and/or Washington, DC and contingent on contract award.
